Pre-Cana is a program that helps those preparing for marriage within the Church. Married volunteer couples share their own experiences with matters of sprituality, values, and practical matters to aid engaged couples in contemplating their readiness for the Holy Sacramament of Marriage.

In association with the Philadelphia archdiocesan Marriage Preparation policy, a group of married couples who, in conjunction with the parish priests, conduct workshops in preparation for engaged couples twice a year. Reservations are required.

Congratulations on your engagement and the setting of the date for your marriage! On behalf of the priests of St. Ignatius Parish and the couples who make up the Marriage Prep Team, we welcome you and look forward to meeting you.  

This is a very special time in your lives; we realize the privilege and responsibility we have in working with you.

There will be a weekend of Marriage Prep sessions held in the church auditorium, which will be attended by yourselves and other engaged couples. Team couples will facilitate the topic for each session. Please understand that attendance at both Saturday and Sunday is required. Our sessions will be held on: 

Saturday October 16_^th from 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM 
Sunday October 17_^th from10:30 AM until 3:00 PM 
(Session begins at conclusion of 9:30 AM Mass)
